Under the situation we face with social distancing, our family was able to have friends and family give the proper respect to our dad. They offered many suggestions and options and we ultimately were able to give our dad the proper send off. I told him I’m a paramedic and that I’ve never shown up to a scene of a dead body or a grieving family and demanded payment before helping them. The fact that he showed such disrespect of the situation and lack of compassion for the family is truly shameful. We weren’t invited to an office but left standing by a table in a hallway. Bryan brought out paperwork and showed us a signature claiming it was my grandpa’s approval to cremate. He walked away to look for another piece of paper and I realize he brought out the wrong file and it was another persons information we were looking at and about to sign for.
